Standards Compliance: does my website meet the recommendations?

It is very import that a content management system enables the use of standards, such as W3C standards.

For example: sites should meet the technical XHTML 1.0 standards requirements. This standard improves the accessibility of the site for the visual impaired - as well as supporting search engine optimization. But standards not only lead to requirements on the technical side of a site. The content, provided by an editor, should also meet certain conditions. Smartsite offers different help and review applications to developers, designers as well as for editors to safeguard the use of proper standards like W3C. This is achieved with the built-in Standard Compliance Validation features.
